The Elevate Speaker Series brings together an exceptional lineup of aviation voices at the Vintage Aero Museum for an evening focused on careers in aviation, real-world pathways into the industry, and the opportunities ahead for Peninsula students inspired by flight.
Set among historic aircraft, the event offers stories, insight, and firsthand perspectives from professionals who know the field from the inside, from the flight deck to airline leadership to workforce development.
On August 26 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, guests will hear from Captain Steeeve, aviation creator and former U.S. Navy pilot, Andy Schneider, President and CEO of Horizon Air, Deja Hubbard, Director of Talent Acquisition Outreach at Alaska Airlines, and Gary Baumgardner, Boeing 777 First Officer. Each speaker brings a different perspective, but together they highlight something especially meaningful for this event: the many ways a life in aviation can take shape, and the many doors the industry can open for young people who are drawn to it.
What makes this evening special is not only the speaker lineup, but the purpose behind it. The event is designed to bring aviation enthusiasts, industry professionals, and local supporters together in support of Peninsula students exploring aviation careers. Funds connected to the event help support Peninsula School District students exploring aviation careers, with donations directed through the Peninsula Schools Education Foundation, PSEF.
