As a YouTube aviation creator with over 1.2 million subscribers, he connects with aviation enthusiasts through content that reflects both knowledge and genuine passion for the industry.

What many of his followers may not realize is that Captain Steeeve's aviation career began long before YouTube. He earned his Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator in 1985, flew as a Navy test pilot, and was selected as the first American helicopter pilot to attend the British Empire Test Pilot's School. Over a distinguished Navy career, he accumulated more than 5,860 flight hours across 60 different aircraft, a level of hands-on experience few pilots will ever match.

His service included command of a helicopter squadron deployed aboard the USS John F. Kennedy in support of combat operations, multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in direct support of Special Operations Forces, and assignments at the Pentagon. His awards include the Bronze Star, four Legions of Merit, the Defense Superior Service Medal, and numerous commendations. Andy Schneider is President and CEO of Horizon Air and a longtime leader within the Alaska Airlines family, where she began her career in 1989 as a manager of financial accounting. What started in the accounting department grew into one of the most broad-ranging careers in the organization, over more than three decades, Andy has led across operations, inflight and call center services, people strategy, and executive leadership. That long view gives her a deep and practical understanding of how airlines work, how communities depend on them, and what it takes to build a culture where people want to build careers.

Andy's path to the CEO role was not a straight line. Before leading Horizon, she served as Senior Vice President of People for Alaska Airlines, where she guided talent and culture strategy for more than 30,000 employees across Alaska, Hawaiian, and Horizon. She also led inflight and call center services and oversaw station operations, customer relations, and labor relations, experiences that shaped her belief that good leadership starts with listening.

Throughout her career, Andy has helped guide teams through some of the most challenging moments in modern aviation, including 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis, COVID, and major mergers, while keeping a clear focus on safety, reliability, and the people doing the work. A native of Boise and a graduate of Gonzaga University, she holds an Executive MBA from the University of Washington.
